Director Ryan Durry has grown up in the industry working with his father in his car yards in Ashburton and in Nelson starting from pumping petrol to getting his MITO National Certificate in Vehicle sales.

Ryan spent some time in Australia working for Subaru Melbourne in their new state of the art dealership and became the top used vehicle consultant in Australia.

Now with nearly 10 years of experience Ryan has since taken over Quay cars which has been well known for a number of years in the Nelson region for the car yard 'high on the hill' and is now specializing in the $2,000 to $15,000 range of small cars, station wagons, vans and 4WD's. 

Quay Cars is a Family business, Stu Durry operates our Wholesale divison which if we don't have what your looking for in stock Stu will find it for you. Ryan's mother, Margaret is the office manager and keeps the boys in line. We also have Allan Elvy who run's the workshop and keeps the cars in great condition, Allans been in the motor industry for a number of years and does a fantastic job. Paul Arnold a local nelsonian does the weekend sales so Quay Cars are open 7 days a week.

Ryan is also a keen Motocross rider and loves all sports. Quay Cars are also proud sponsors of MotoX Events and the Nelson youth sailing within the Nelson Yacht Club
